Hillsdon is a 21 bedded nursing home, offering a home from home atmosphere in Lower Parkstone. Personal choice, individual freedom and comprehensive care are the foundations of the Hillsdon philosophy - a philosophy shared by all staff and which is reflected in the home's calm and friendly atmosphere.

Close to the town of Poole, Hillsdon Nursing Home is a welcoming place for those who need that extra help to enjoy their day to day lives to the full. With its wide hallways and full passenger lift, residents can move freely throughout the home with ease. The spacious lounge and decked garden are a feature enjoyed by everyone.

The care team is skilled in providing high quality care and places an equal emphasis on residents' emotional well-being, remembering that a touch of humour can often ease the frustrations of age and infirmity.

We work constantly with residents, their families, medical and social advisers to ensure that all needs are met and the best quality of life is enjoyed. Special dietary needs and preferences are always discussed on arrival.

We are able to provide 24hour nursing care to anyone hos has been diagnosed with a general physical illness, for example a stroke, cancer, diabetes, peg feeding. We cannot provide care for anyone who has been diagnosed with a mental illness or may present challenging behaviour.
